Crumpets

Combine wet ingredients, stir, and set aside for 10 minutes at room temperature.

Stir dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Stir in the wet ingredients and mix with a whisk for 5 minutes. Cover and rest for 45 minutes.

Stir gently to de-gas to remove large bubbles.

Heat large pan to 350F, grease crumpet rings and cook.

Wet Ingredients

  • 200g(ml) water
  • 200g(ml) milk
  • 4g (1 tsp) sugar
  • 8g (2 tsp) instant yeast

Dry Ingredients

  • 300g(2 cups) flour
  • 6g (1 tsp) salt
  • 10g (2 tsp) baking powder
